Dementia Lab 2021 is the 5th instalment of the international Dementia Lab Conference. This year’s event is a virtual conference, hosted January 18th to 28th, 2021 by the Health Design Lab at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Canada.
Designers, academics, caregivers, healthcare workers and people with dementia are invited to join virtually to engage in conversations and workshops about design and dementia.
The event will highlight issues and innovations surrounding ability and disability, reflecting on how design and research efforts can lead the way in uncovering, supporting and enhancing the abilities of people with dementia and the community within which they live by involving them in the conversation.
