Overview:
With support and generous funding from the Job Growth Funding (JGF) stream at PacifiCan, the Government of Canada’s economic development agency dedicated to British Columbia, Circle Innovation introduced a new product development collaboration program called the Circle Innovation Healthtech SME Program (CIHS) in 2022.
Using our SWAT Model, Circle fuelled the expansion and development of emerging technologies in healthcare with $4.66 million in support from PacifiCan.
The partnership between PacifiCan and Circle Innovation helped BC SMEs generate new jobs and train B.C. workers. The funding also supported the growth of SMEs and generated increased revenues throughout the province.
We set ambitious targets to measure the success of the CIHS program. In most cases, our outcomes far exceeded our initial goals.
