Circle Innovation is pleased to join envisAGE, a pan-Canadian initiative dedicated to ensuring quality aging through innovation.
Circle Innovation will serve as an Innovation Hub in the envisAGE ecosystem, working alongside small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), envisAGE Beachheads (centres measuring benefits and impacts), and Community Labs (organizations working with seniors and caregivers to implement technology solutions).
The unique collaborative model of envisAGE brings together key players in the ecosystem to ensure solutions meet market needs to address the challenges of aging. In this important role, Circle will leverage our unique SWAT innovation model to enable the adoption of new technologies in different settings across Canada, benefiting older adults, caregivers, and service providers.
By 2035, more than 25 per cent of Canadians will be over the age of 65. Most older Canadians believe technological advances can help them maintain relationships with family and friends, manage health, and stay safe, independent and active as they age.
The mission of envisAGE is to catalyze Canada’s AgeTech ecosystem by helping innovators grow and scale their enterprises and deliver technology solutions that will change the lives of Canadians.
Co-led by MEDTEQ+ and AGE-WELL, envisAGE is funded through the Government of Canada’s Strategic Innovation Fund, with additional contributions from the Government of Quebec, industry, non-profits, and other partners.
“Circle Innovation is thrilled to join the envisAGE network, a partnership that amplifies our shared commitment to bolstering Canadian SMEs. This alliance with organizations nationwide will energize our efforts to catalyze healthcare transformation, benefiting not only our organization but also the people of British Columbia through enhanced access to a national network. At the heart of this initiative is our dedication to empowering older adults and care providers with innovative solutions that uphold their independence and dignity in an aging society. We are honoured to be part of such a transformative initiative.”
