Introducing The First Envisage Collaborative Projects!
Exciting news from the envisAGE initiative! MEDTEQ+ and AGE-WELL are proud to announce the first 16 envisAGE collaborative projects, marking a significant milestone in our journey to catalyze the AgeTech ecosystem as well as reimagine and enhance the quality of life for older adults and their caregivers through technological innovation across Canada.
Circle Innovation is one of five Innovation Hubs within the envisAGE network.
At the helm of each project is a triad that includes a small or medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) with a mature technological innovation, an envisAGE Beachhead™ —experts in measuring the real-world benefits and impacts of technology, and a Community Lab. These ‘labs’ are organizations dedicated to the welfare of older adults and caregivers, offering the perfect environment to evaluate and refine these innovations. Some projects are dyad in collaboration with Innovation Hubs, organizations with specialized expertise in key areas to support the adoption of new technologies in different settings across Canada, benefiting older adults, caregivers, and service providers.
In all, the projects involve 16 SMEs and 11 organizations across Canada that will receive a combination of funding, expert coaching, and supportive resources through envisAGE to grow and scale innovations and ensure they meet the needs of older adults.
